Neighbourhood Centre
The engineering team has submitted the detailed engineering drawings to HCC who are currently processing the Engineering Plan Approval, which has included detailed flood modelling. This will be worked through over with HCC and the team is working hard to gain approvals and start site works in the coming weeks.
Stage 24
August was another great month on site with works progressing well. The northern section of Stage 24 (Radiata Street extension) now has kerbs and footpath laid. Service connections are being completed, and the road is being prepared for final asphalt. The southern section of Stage 24 (Raleigh Street extension) now has services installed and kerbs will be poured over the coming weeks. Currently all on track for completion before the end of 2025 and titles in March 2026.

Glazing Consent
The glazing resource consent with HCC has now been APPROVED. This applies to all sites in Stages 16–26 and allows exceptions to the 20% glazing requirement under the new Hamilton City Plan (PC12) as follows:
Single detached homes must have at least 10% clear glazing on the ground-level frontage.
They must include at least one clear glazed window (2m² minimum) from a bedroom, kitchen, or living room facing the street at ground level.
The old outdoor living space rules for Greenhill Park consents have been removed, giving more flexibility in how living spaces are designed.
This approval makes the design and consenting process simpler for builders in Greenhill Park. Builders can now use this consent for any designs where the 20% glazing requirement is not able to be met.
Note: all designs still require design review panel approval.
